I checked into the singing ice. Tension releasing? I think so and yes, the sound of tension releasing released some of my tension. Thank you for sharing this phenomenon.

Re: Origins of Sweet Potato

I love the thoughts of co evolving, inter-species coordination, mutualism, all our relatives or whatever this is. Maybe just how things are...how's that? My wondering is, is this what messenger RNA activity is too? I have a bit of a dilemma...hmmmmmm

Re: Who suffers the most? ... the children.

Wow! great image and appeal for decency. How does a culture treat its children? Dominant culture dominates its children rather than nurture them. The capitalists kids get the cake and the others kids get the crumbs? Cake too? Communitarian ethics spreads the wealth of the community around a bit more...

Re: How does art presently reflect or direct dominant culture?

I am curious about the artistic struggle. Does the term come from "struggling artist", a term that evokes a thought about the artist's economic struggle. Does it come from the feeling when the artist faces a blank page and doesn't have a sense of how to start or move next? I feeing that I've had whe...

Re: How "Who controls the narrative controls the world" works ...

Finally, a great description of the house of mirrors in a recent history (within 50 years, two generations!) context. How much can we keep track of? 7 generations perspective sometimes has generation 4 sandwiched by 1,2,3 and 5,6,7. Maybe that's the best we can do. I will need to study this post a b...
